Dr. Aaron Hood
Doctor
A native of Denham Springs, Louisiana, and a graduate of Denham Springs High School in 1988, Dr. Aaron Hood has a Bachelor of Science from LSU in 1993 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from LSU in 1997. He is married to Michelle Ware of Denham Springs and has two children.
Dr. Diana Moore
Doctor
Dr. Diana Moore, formerly Hamilton is a graduate from Bartlett High School in Anchorage, Alaska. She received a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana Tech in 2001 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from LSU in 2005.
Amy Dunn
Practice Manager
Amy has been part of the Hood Veterinary Hospital team since 2009 as a receptionist and then practice manger since 2023. When Amy is not at work she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has three kids and one granddaughter.
Hillary
Receptionist & Technician
She has been a technician with us since 2016 and switched to our receptionist in 2022. She has 3 cats and 1 dog; Batman, Calypso, Poseidon, and Aura. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband and 2 daughters, painting, and planting.
Vanna
Technician
She recently started her journey in the vet world but has always had a passion for animals. She’s had everything from snakes, bearded dragons, fish, turtles, cats, dogs, and a rehabilitated raccoon. She currently only has 2 fur babies, Holly & Maya. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and gaming.
Lexa Brock
She is 20 years old and from Hammond, LA. She has started her animal journey 3 years ago at Camp Bow Wow but has been a tech for 2 of those. She has 2 cats Tom & Smokey and 2 dogs Dutton & Prince. She enjoys socializing, reading, make-up, and Tik-Tok.
