Dr. Aaron Hood
Doctor
A native of Denham Springs, Louisiana, and a graduate of Denham Springs High School in 1988, Dr. Aaron Hood has a Bachelor of Science from LSU in 1993 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from LSU in 1997. He is married to Michelle Ware of Denham Springs and has two children.
Dr. Diana Moore
Doctor
Dr. Diana Moore, formerly Hamilton is a graduate from Bartlett High School in Anchorage, Alaska. She received a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana Tech in 2001 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from LSU in 2005.
Amy Dunn
Practice Manager
Amy has been part of the Hood Veterinary Hospital team since 2009 as a receptionist and then practice manger since 2023. When Amy is not at work she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has three kids and one granddaughter.
Bailey
Technician
Bailey has been with Hood Veterinary Hospital since February 2022. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Hillary Stewart
Receptionist & Tech
Hillary has been a tech since 2016 and a receptionist since 2022. She enjoys spending time with her family and have one cat Calypso and one dog Batman.
Chloe
Technician
She is a 20-year-old from Charenton, LA. She is a student at LSU majoring in animal science pre-vet. She has a doggie named Lady that she rescued, enjoys hunting, fishing, painting, and loves to go on adventures.
Vanna
Technician
She recently started her journey in the vet world but has always had a passion for animals. She’s had everything from snakes, bearded dragons, fish, turtles, cats, dogs, and a rehabilitated raccoon. She currently only has 2 fur babies, Holly & Maya. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and gaming.
Rebecca
Technician
Our newest tech has been in the game for 26 years. She is a Houston native that also volunteers at The Empty Shelter Project. Her hobbies include fishing, shooting, and spending time with family. She has a 16 year old son, a doggie Thor, and 2 kitties Meow Meow & Sammy.
During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and fishing. Rebecca also loves volunteering at the Empty Shelter project of Texas.
Krysta
Receptionist
She is new to the Vet World but joined for her love of animals. She was born and raised in Walker. She enjoys camping and spending time with her loved ones. She has 1 fur baby Mary.
